On September 11, our county organized a viewing session for the municipal government's special teleconference on the aluminum and magnesium industry chain. County Party Standing Committee member and Deputy County Governor Wang Jianfu attended the meeting at the county sub-venue.

The meeting noted that the aluminum and magnesium sector is a key advantageous and pillar industry for the city, serving as a vital pillar for achieving the economic growth targets set for the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. Departments at all levels were urged to maintain a goal-oriented, problem-focused, and result-driven approach, improve working mechanisms, clarify phased tasks, and strengthen supervision and assessment. Efforts should also focus on identifying and resolving bottlenecks and pain points in industrial development to fully promote the high-quality growth of the aluminum and magnesium sectors.

The meeting emphasized unwavering efforts to secure resource supply by accelerating the integration of bauxite resources, project construction, mining rights transfers, and pilot programs for co-mining coal and aluminum resources to solidify the industry's foundation. It also stressed the need to intensify support for enterprise development, conducting comprehensive surveys of the operating conditions of businesses across the sector, providing targeted on-site services, and promptly resolving difficulties faced by companies.

Furthermore, the meeting highlighted the importance of advancing the entire industry chain encompassing bauxite, alumina, fine alumina, and deep aluminum processing to continuously extend the value chain. It called for focused efforts on cultivating emerging industries, following the path of green, intelligent, and high-end development to enhance product added value and drive industrial upgrades. Finally, the meeting underscored the need to improve overall work efficiency by strengthening communication and coordination, swiftly advancing related tasks, ensuring that enterprises are registered in statistical systems and data is properly recorded, thereby supporting the expansion and healthy growth of the aluminum and magnesium industries.
