According to the established pricing mechanism for refined oil products, the next adjustment is scheduled for 24:00 on September 24, leaving 10 days until the effective change. On September 14, the 19th pricing cycle of 2026 for fuel officially commenced, marking the first statistical working day for this round of evaluation.
With the current crude oil change rate surging significantly, real-time calculations from agencies indicate that petrol and diesel are projected to rise by 500 yuan per tonne and 480 yuan per tonne, respectively. This translates into a substantial increase at retail pumps, with 92-octane petrol expected to climb by 0.40 yuan per litre, 95-octane petrol by 0.43 yuan per litre, and 0-diesel by 0.41 yuan per litre.
Agencies predict that the upward momentum will continue to expand as of today, September 15. It is important to note that these figures are merely preliminary estimates from institutional forecasts, and the final adjustment magnitude will be confirmed by the official announcement.
