Mega Genomics Executes HK$0.40 Million Share Buyback, Boosts Treasury Stock to 963,000 Shares

Hong Kong-listed Mega Genomics Limited repurchased 55,400 ordinary shares on 11 September 2026, according to its latest Next Day Disclosure Return filed with the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.

The buyback, conducted on-market under the company’s existing mandate, was completed at prices ranging from HK$7.16 to HK$7.195 per share, translating to a volume-weighted average of roughly HK$7.18. The aggregate consideration amounted to HK$0.40 million.

Following the transaction, Mega Genomics’ issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.02 % to 223.34 million shares. Treasury shares increased to 963,000, while the total number of issued shares remained unchanged at 224.30 million.

Since shareholders granted the repurchase mandate on 21 May 2026, the company has bought back 963,000 shares, representing 0.43 % of the shares outstanding on the mandate date. The remaining authority permits additional repurchases of up to 21.47 million shares. Under Hong Kong listing rules, Mega Genomics is subject to a 30-day moratorium—up to 11 October 2026—on issuing, selling, or transferring shares following this latest buyback.

The board confirmed that all repurchases were executed in compliance with Hong Kong Stock Exchange requirements and relevant regulations.
