With the National Day holiday approaching, the Hong Kong stock market will observe a one-day closure on Thursday, October 1st, and trading will resume as usual on Friday, October 2nd.

For the Stock Connect (Southbound) channel, services will be unavailable from Thursday, October 1st through Wednesday, October 7th, with normal operations recommencing on Thursday, October 8th.

Similarly, the Shanghai-Shenzhen Stock Connect (Northbound) channel will suspend services from Thursday, October 1st to Wednesday, October 7th, and will reopen on Thursday, October 8th.

The A-share market will be closed for a seven-day break from Thursday, October 1st to Wednesday, October 7th, returning to regular trading on Thursday, October 8th. Meanwhile, the US stock market will continue normal trading during this period.
