Central China Real Estate (CCRE) has published its 10th Environmental, Social & Governance Report, covering the 2025 calendar year and approved by the Board on 27 March 2026. The document provides full-year metrics for all mainland and Hong Kong operations and aligns with HKEX ESG Reporting Code and TCFD guidance.

Governance and Risk Management • ESG Oversight: A seven-member Board (43 % independent, 14 % female) is the highest decision-making body for sustainability, supported by an Audit Committee and a cross-functional ESG Working Group. • Anti-corruption: All 8,000+ employees completed integrity training; no corruption cases were reported during 2025. A multi-channel whistle-blowing mechanism (hotline, email, postal) logged zero substantiated cases.

Environmental Performance • Carbon Profile: 2025 total greenhouse gas emissions reached 15.59 thousand tCO₂e (Scope 1: 57 t; Scope 2: 38.76 t; inaugural Scope 3 disclosure: 15.49 thousand t). Emission intensity stood at 3.08 kg CO₂e/m² of GFA. • Air Pollutants: NOx 21.13 kg, SOx 0.35 kg, PM 1.56 kg – all lower or unchanged year-on-year. • Resource Use: Electricity consumption totalled 68.25 MWh; direct fuels 22.91 thousand L of gasoline and 0.80 thousand L of diesel. Energy intensity was 59.10 kWh/m², and water intensity 0.31 m³/m². • Waste: Hazardous waste comprised 9.60 kg of toner cartridges and 21 kg of used lamps; all disposed via licensed contractors. • Targets (2028 vs. 2025 baseline): hold growth in energy, water, pollutant emissions and hazardous waste intensity to ≤1 %; progressive Scope 1-2 carbon-reduction roadmap under development.

Green Construction & Operations • Prefabricated building components, aluminium formwork, structural floor delivery and zero-ground-area finishing reduced construction waste and improved efficiency. • Smart offices adopted LED and solar lighting, paperless workflows and water-saving fixtures; rainwater harvesting supports landscaping. • Site practices include variable-frequency pumps, solar-powered lighting and steel formwork systems to cut resource use and limit emissions.

Climate Resilience CCRE mapped both transition and physical risks. Acute risks include floods and typhoons that could disrupt project timelines; chronic risks relate to rising temperatures and water-scarcity impacts. Mitigation includes climate-resilient site selection, emergency plans and energy-saving investments.

Social Metrics • Headcount: 2,617 employees (48 % female). Turnover rate fell to 12 % (2024: 18 %). • Training: 1,533 hours delivered to all staff; management averaged 2 hours, other staff 0.5 hours. • Safety: Zero work-related fatalities or lost-time injuries for the third consecutive year. • Employee Welfare: RMB0.52 million disbursed from the Family Relief Foundation to 66 beneficiaries; regular health checks and sports clubs maintained.

Supply Chain & Responsible Sourcing • Active vendor base: 110 suppliers (60 in Henan, 50 elsewhere). • All suppliers undergo qualification audits, ESG risk screening and annual performance reviews; non-compliant vendors face blacklisting. • CCRE participates in the national Green Supply Chain initiative, promoting low-carbon steel, compliant timber, chrome-free aluminium and formaldehyde-controlled panels.

Community & Rural Revitalisation Subsidiary Central China Agriculture has invested nearly RMB5 billion since 2012 in four modern “Green House” agricultural complexes across Henan, operating 3,670 mu of smart greenhouses and creating local jobs via land transfer, training and procurement. In 2025, public-welfare expenditures included continued support for education programmes and disaster relief.

Outlook CCRE pledges to integrate ESG deeper into strategic planning, refine science-based carbon targets and broaden supply-chain engagement while scaling green-building technologies and rural revitalisation projects.
