At a routine press conference held on September 14, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun responded to a reporter's inquiry regarding a call made at the BRICS summit. The question referenced Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto's appeal for member states to promote joint industrialization, highlighting that members have become vital components of the global supply chain, and that enhanced industrial collaboration could help them generate greater added value.

In response, Guo Jiakun stated that over the years, BRICS nations have actively advanced industrial cooperation. They have established platforms such as the Innovation Base for the New Industrial Revolution Partnership and the BRICS Industrial Competence Center, yielding a series of tangible outcomes.

China is willing to work with fellow BRICS members to strengthen technological collaboration, deepen industrial synergies, and carry out capacity-building initiatives, aiming for higher-quality, more resilient, and more sustainable development.
