A landslide struck Dingziba, Shidaguan Village, Diexi Town, Maoxian County, in the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture on the morning of the 16th, blocking a section of National Highway 213 at K2029+200. No injuries or fatalities have been reported.

Authorities from the Maoxian County Public Security Bureau confirmed that temporary traffic restrictions had already been implemented at the affected stretch of National Highway 213 on the previous day, the 15th. This proactive measure proved crucial in preventing any harm when the landslide occurred.

Following the incident, local emergency response teams were immediately dispatched to the scene. Traffic in both directions has been closed off, with vehicles being rerouted around the affected area. Cleanup and recovery operations are currently underway in an orderly manner.
