Recently, with approval from the China National Intellectual Property Administration, the Liuzhou Intellectual Property Protection Center has officially passed the national-level construction acceptance review and commenced formal operations. The center focuses on two pillar industries with distinctive advantages—high-end equipment manufacturing and automobile manufacturing—offering integrated "one-stop" services for rapid patent examination, fast rights confirmation, and swift rights protection. By leveraging efficient collaborative intellectual property protection, it aims to empower industrial innovation and inject robust momentum into Liuzhou's efforts to build a modern industrial system and deepen its ocean-oriented economy.

Since the beginning of this year, the Liuzhou Municipal Market Supervision Administration has adhered to the principle of "building strong and utilizing well" the national-level collaborative intellectual property protection platform, managing both construction preparation and business development simultaneously, while coordinating and guiding the integrated development of the Liuzhou Intellectual Property Protection Center. The center has completed preliminary filing reviews for 188 innovative entities and agency registrations, and pre-screened examination requirements for 99 key core technologies across industrial fields. It has deepened public services for transformation and application, including information retrieval, patent navigation, and pledge financing, providing over 1,100 services in total and processing more than 400 trademark-related matters. The center has also pursued dual-track efforts both domestically and internationally, advancing the "dual-station construction" of a digitalized diversified dispute resolution workstation and the Liuzhou Court Intellectual Property Protection Judge Workstation. It has conducted dynamic monitoring of 40 overseas registered trademarks, issued nine early warnings for potential squatting risks, and provided 15 advisory sessions for overseas dispute response.

After the Liuzhou Intellectual Property Protection Center becomes fully operational, it will join the Nanning Intellectual Property Protection Center in forming a rapid protection network covering key pillar industries across the entire region, establishing a dual-center collaborative framework to create a regional highland for intellectual property protection. Looking ahead, the Liuzhou Municipal Market Supervision Administration will continue to strengthen the operational management of the national-level intellectual property protection center, advancing high-quality rapid collaborative protection work with a focus on the "three integrations" of linking with local advantageous industries, enforcement protection system development, and intellectual property examination operations to solidify its foundation. It will also pursue the "three expansions" of broadening business scope across multiple categories, extending protection coverage across the full chain, and expanding service audiences across all fields to push the boundaries of service delivery. Furthermore, the center will emphasize the "two alignments" of deepening integration with free trade zone construction and national key intellectual property projects, facilitating integration into the China-ASEAN open development framework and safeguarding the global expansion of "Liuzhou Smart Manufacturing."
