Sigenergy Technology Co., Ltd. (SIGENERGY, 06656) posted a robust set of interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2026, underscoring rapid global expansion in energy-storage solutions.

Financial Highlights • Revenue surged 261.2% year on year to RMB 9.87 billion. • Gross profit rose 181.7% to RMB 4.00 billion; gross margin narrowed to 40.5% (1H25: 51.9%) on higher raw-material costs and channel incentives. • Profit for the period more than tripled to RMB 2.43 billion; adjusted net profit reached RMB 2.49 billion, up 135.8%. • Operating cash inflow expanded to RMB 1.97 billion (1H25: RMB 0.45 billion). • Cash and bank balances jumped to RMB 8.25 billion after the April IPO and subsequent over-allotment option, which raised a combined HK$4.83 billion. • Interest-bearing bank borrowings increased 81.4% since year-end to RMB 3.12 billion; gearing ratio improved to 49.7% (FY25: 55.2%).

Segment Performance • Sigen energy-storage series remained the core driver, contributing 94.2% of revenue at RMB 9.30 billion (+267.1%). • Gateway devices generated RMB 0.36 billion (+181.5%). • Other products, mainly EV AC chargers and accessories, delivered RMB 0.22 billion (+195.0%).

Cost & Investment Trends • R&D spending climbed 62.9% to RMB 0.37 billion, reflecting continued product and software innovation. • Selling and distribution expenses more than doubled to RMB 0.33 billion as Sigenergy scaled its global sales network. • Administrative costs fell 29.7% to RMB 0.17 billion, aided by lower share-based payment charges. • Capital expenditure reached RMB 0.26 billion, with additional RMB 0.06 billion for land; outstanding capex commitments stood at RMB 0.58 billion.

Balance Sheet & Cash Flow • Net cash from financing activities totalled RMB 5.66 billion, driven by IPO proceeds. • Net operating cash flow increased four-fold, underpinned by revenue growth and tighter working-capital management. • Inventory rose to RMB 3.40 billion as capacity ramps up; trade receivables expanded to RMB 5.39 billion.

Capital Allocation • A final 2025 dividend of RMB 2.346 per share (totaling RMB 0.58 billion) was declared; no interim dividend proposed. • IPO proceeds are earmarked for R&D (38%), global marketing/services (32%), capacity expansion (12%), product diversification (9%) and general working capital (9%).

Strategic Outlook Sigenergy plans to deepen R&D across inverters, storage and charging, expand Nantong Intelligent Energy Center capacity, and strengthen market penetration in Europe while accelerating entry into Asia-Pacific, Africa and North America. Emphasis remains on integrating AI-driven energy management, virtual power plant capabilities, and enhancing localized service networks.
