Cheng Yan from Qingcang Robotics: Logistics and Supply Chain Offer the Most Promising Path for Embodied AI Commercialization

At the 2026 Technology Innovation Conference held today, Qingcang Robotics founder Cheng Yan shared his perspective that the logistics supply chain represents the most viable entry point for the practical deployment of embodied intelligence technology.

Cheng highlighted that the logistics market within the embodied intelligence sector is projected to reach at least 500 billion yuan. He detailed the company's product advancements, noting that Qingcang has already developed a 30-kilogram heavy-load solution currently operating in pharmaceutical environments, as well as a 5-kilogram picking system being used for material handling on a production line at a cosmetics company.

On the data front, Cheng revealed that the company expects to accumulate 100,000 square meters of real-world scenario data by the end of this year. In terms of international market expansion, he shared that Qingcang has secured orders totaling 30 million yuan in North America, while in Europe approximately 100 units are undergoing small-batch testing with plans for initial shipments next year. Additionally, the company is partnering with the world's largest IT distributor in Southeast Asia, anticipating initial orders of at least 100 million yuan to be delivered starting next year.
