Li Auto Announces HKD 31.27 Million Share Buyback, Reducing Free Float by 0.04%

Li Auto Inc. (LI AUTO) disclosed a repurchase of 679,600 Class A WVR ordinary shares on 11 September 2026, executed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under its existing buy-back mandate dated 29 May 2026.

The transaction was completed at prices ranging from HKD 45.38 to HKD 46.44 per share, with a volume-weighted average cost of HKD 46.02. The aggregate consideration amounted to HKD 31.27 million.

Post-transaction, the company’s outstanding share capital (excluding treasury shares) decreased to 1.72 billion shares, down 0.039% from the prior day. Treasury shares increased to 97.01 million, while total issued shares remained unchanged at 1.82 billion, as the repurchased shares were retained in treasury rather than cancelled.

Since receiving shareholder authorisation in May 2026, Li Auto has repurchased 77.42 million shares, equivalent to 3.61% of the share count at the mandate date. The company remains subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares, effective until 11 October 2026.
