Yesterday, the launch event for mainland China's first VR immersive music film, "Jia Xiang World: Infinite Player," was held in Beijing, a project fully produced, distributed, and released by Zebra Labs. Following the screening, Li Dai, CEO and founder of Zebra Labs, and Du Hua, founder and CEO of Yuehua Entertainment, took part in a post-film discussion session.

The 35-minute experience allows audiences to enjoy multiple exclusive music and dance stages performed by lead actor Huang Minghao, which were crafted specifically for the VR immersive format. Li Dai explained that the decision to blend a centralized cinema viewing experience with VR immersion stems from her belief that "technology should not be just flashy visual gimmicks, but rather a bridge to connect genuine emotions."

When asked why Huang Minghao was selected for this pioneering project, Li Dai noted that his personal character is excellent, his musical expression aligns well with the surreal VR settings, and his strong fan base is notably receptive to new experiences. After a rigorous selection process, Huang Minghao stood out from a vast pool of candidates.

Alongside the film, Zebra Labs has also introduced LISA404, a self-developed AI agent designed for online audience interaction, offering long-term companionship and emotional value to users. The combination of immersive offline VR film experiences and the interactive online AI agent forms what Zebra Labs describes as its unique "dual-wheel-driven ecosystem." Li Dai expressed her hope that through AI+VR technology, the company can connect artist-exclusive content, offline interactive scenarios, and online secondary distribution mechanisms, creating a complete chain from content production and emotional fulfillment to offline consumption and long-term operation.

During the sharing session, Du Hua revealed that since the film began its tour, many partners have approached her, indicating that the pioneering effort has been well-received and widely noticed within the industry. She also stated that Yuehua Entertainment aims to pursue deeper collaborations with Zebra Labs in the future.

Since August 21st, "Jia Xiang World: Infinite Player" has successfully landed in Shanghai and Shenzhen. The Beijing leg of the tour began on September 16th, with upcoming stops planned for cities voted on by audiences, including Hangzhou, Chongqing, Chengdu, and Guangzhou. Following this release, Zebra Labs will continue partnering with renowned artists to produce more VR immersive music films under its own intellectual property.
