XPeng Motors announced via its official Weibo account on September 15 that its first global X-Energy megawatt charging station has officially launched in Hong Kong. The station, developed in partnership with Halo, is now open to all vehicle brands, marking a key expansion of XPeng's charging infrastructure.

According to XPeng, this is not only the first public megawatt charging station in Hong Kong but also a significant milestone in the company's proprietary energy replenishment technology. The station underscores XPeng's commitment to advancing high-power charging solutions in key markets.

Earlier reports noted that XPeng's Chairman and CEO, He Xiaopeng, revealed during the MONA L03 launch event that the company aims to establish over 1,000 self-operated supercharging stations across 13 European countries. Additionally, the new X-Energy megawatt storage-charging station is set to debut in Europe, integrating energy storage, 10C ultra-fast charging, and AI-based detection capabilities to deliver up to 1MW of output.
