On 11 September 2026, Xinyi Solar Holdings Limited disclosed a new share buy-back under Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing rules.
The company repurchased 6.00 million ordinary shares on-market at prices between HK$2.08 and HK$2.10, spending a total of HK$12.54 million. The tranche represents approximately 0.07% of Xinyi Solar’s 9.15 billion issued shares outstanding before the transaction.
Including an earlier repurchase of 3.00 million shares on 9 September at an average price of HK$2.10, Xinyi Solar now holds 9.00 million shares awaiting cancellation. These shares equal about 0.10% of the company’s issued share base.
Despite the buy-backs, the registered share capital remains unchanged at 9.15 billion shares pending formal cancellation of the repurchased stock. Under the shareholder mandate approved on 29 May 2026, Xinyi Solar is authorised to repurchase up to 914.70 million shares; the 9.00 million shares acquired to date utilise roughly 1% of this limit.
Following the latest transaction, the company is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 11 October 2026, in line with HKEX rules. All repurchases were executed in compliance with applicable regulations, as confirmed in the filing.
