CDB INT'L INV (01062) has issued a profit warning, announcing expectations for the six-month period ending June 30, 2026.

Compared to a loss attributable to equity holders of the company of approximately HK$11.68 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025, the group now anticipates a loss attributable to equity holders of the company of approximately HK$90.73 million for the corresponding period in 2026.

The projected increase in losses is primarily due to a significantly larger fair value loss on financial assets measured at fair value through profit or loss during the six-month period ending June 30, 2026, compared to the same period last year. As an investment company, it is normal for the company's investment portfolio to experience significant fair value fluctuations under different market conditions.

These fluctuations may be temporary and do not necessarily represent the final outcome of the underlying investments upon sale or maturity. The company will continue to seek out attractive investment opportunities, and the board is confident it will deliver long-term sustainable returns for its shareholders.
