Xinyi Energy Holdings Limited reported that it bought back 4.05 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 11 September 2026 at HK$0.79 per share, spending HK$3.20 million in cash.
Including 2.75 million shares repurchased on 10 September 2026 at a volume-weighted average price of HK$0.7883, the company has acquired 6.80 million shares for cancellation since receiving shareholder approval for its 2026 buyback mandate on 29 May 2026. This represents 0.08% of the 8.52 billion issued shares outstanding on the mandate date.
The repurchased shares have not yet been cancelled; therefore, Xinyi Energy’s issued share capital remains unchanged at 8.52 billion shares as of 11 September 2026. The current authorisation allows for repurchases of up to 851.97 million shares, leaving approximately 845.17 million shares, or 9.92% of the mandate, still available.
Under Hong Kong Listing Rules, Xinyi Energy is restricted from issuing new shares or selling treasury shares until 11 October 2026, 30 days after the most recent buyback. The board confirmed that all repurchase actions complied with the exchange’s regulations and the terms of the company’s explanatory statement dated 30 April 2026.
