Recently, the Beishi Subdistrict organized a series of activities for the 2026 National Cybersecurity Awareness Week under the theme "Cybersecurity for the People, Cybersecurity by the People." The campaign was carried out both online and offline to maximize its reach across the community.

Offline, community workers took to the streets and alleys to distribute cybersecurity informational brochures to residents. They focused on common online risks such as telecom fraud, personal information leaks, and internet rumors, explaining cybersecurity protection knowledge in plain language and reminding residents to stay vigilant in safeguarding their personal assets and information. Meanwhile, at the community party-masses service stations, staff conducted on-site education sessions for residents handling their affairs, guiding them to carefully review the materials and grasp essential cybersecurity protection skills. In addition, posters highlighting cybersecurity were displayed at key locations within the jurisdiction, creating a strong offline promotional atmosphere.

Online, the campaign fully utilized the role of grid WeChat groups by promptly pushing out educational content and activity posters related to Cybersecurity Awareness Week directly to residents' mobile phones. This allowed residents to learn about cybersecurity knowledge without leaving their homes, effectively extending the campaign into every network and household. By bringing the awareness initiative right to the doorstep of each resident, the campaign bridged the "last mile" of cybersecurity education and deepened residents' understanding, significantly enhancing their ability to identify online risks and prevent cyber fraud.

Moving forward, the subdistrict plans to continue regular cybersecurity education and outreach, encouraging residents to actively participate in building a secure online environment and collectively strengthening the community's cybersecurity defense system.
