Shares of AXERA (00600) have climbed more than 10% in Hong Kong trading, with the stock last up 10.19% to HK$17.63 on turnover of approximately HK$49.3 million.

The rally follows the company's inclusion in the Stock Connect program, effective September 7, which allows mainland Chinese investors to directly trade the stock through their A-share accounts. This broader access is expected to attract a wider investor base, potentially boosting the company's liquidity and valuation prospects.

Adding to the positive momentum, AXERA officially completed its high-end autonomous driving compute lineup on September 8, unveiling two new 5nm smart driving chips under its M9 series: the flagship M97 and the mainstream M95. The company maintains its positioning as a pure chip infrastructure provider, deliberately staying out of the upper-level autonomous driving algorithm business to safeguard the algorithmic autonomy of automakers and partners.

Dr. Sharon Qiu, founder and chairwoman of AXERA, emphasized the company's strategic focus, stating: "Our role is to build the compute platform well and let our partners shine in delivering the algorithms."
