On September 9, the opening day of the China International Fair for Trade in Services, CPIC held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony with the fair's organizer, Capital Events Group, alongside the launch of the "Low-Carbon Services Trade, Green Together" initiative at the CPIC booth in Shougang Park, Beijing.

Zhao Yonggang, President of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd., attended the event and delivered a speech. Key officials including Pu Xuedong, Director of the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau; Zhang Jie, Chairman of North Star Group; Zheng Zhonglian, General Manager of Capital Events Group; and Wang Naixiang, Chairman of Beijing Green Exchange, participated in the ceremony.

Since becoming a strategic partner of CIFTIS in 2020, CPIC has worked closely with Capital Events Group under the guidance of the Ministry of Commerce and the Beijing Municipal Government. For seven consecutive years, the company has provided comprehensive insurance coverage for the fair, spanning trade financing, transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, and after-sales services, with cumulative coverage exceeding RMB 1.4 trillion. The company has also showcased its offerings at the CIFTIS main venue for seven straight years. This year, under the theme "Leading the Future with Intelligence," CPIC highlighted its practices in serving national strategies, safeguarding global trade, driving digital transformation, and protecting public welfare.

The signing of this strategic cooperation letter of intent marks the official start of a new three-year partnership. CPIC will enhance its services around the core themes of CIFTIS from four key dimensions: building a comprehensive risk protection system, fulfilling green and low-carbon commitments, expanding the services trade cooperation network, and amplifying brand spillover effects. Leveraging its leading position in green insurance, the company will provide full support across solution design, technological innovation, and concept advocacy, actively serving the national "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" strategy and offering its "CPIC solution" for building a green services trade brand.

During the event, CPIC and Capital Events Group jointly launched the "Low-Carbon Services Trade, Green Together" initiative, with Beijing Green Exchange issuing a carbon neutrality certificate for the fair. The initiative aims to guide the public toward adopting green, low-carbon lifestyles and jointly forging a sustainable future. During this year's CIFTIS, CPIC offset the conference's carbon emissions through instruments such as carbon credits. Moving forward, all parties will continue to collaborate, promoting green and low-carbon concepts and contributing to global sustainable development goals.
