Zhangyan Town has released its economic performance report for the first half of the year, highlighting robust growth driven by its focus on three key industries: new energy vehicle components, intelligent equipment, and new materials. The local government has been actively promoting industrial clustering and specialized development, keeping the town's economy on a steady upward trajectory.

Shanghai Yiding Petrochemical Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a long-time player in the petrochemical support equipment sector, specializes in the research and production of core products such as filters, flame arresters, and breather valves, holding 38 national patents. To meet the demands of the high-end chemical industry, the company has embarked on a smart and high-end transformation, introducing advanced intelligent production equipment and upgrading its entire manufacturing system. This shift moves them from simple equipment processing to a comprehensive solution provider integrating R&D, manufacturing, and services. According to Chen Jinrong, the company's overseas sales representative, the intelligent upgrades have significantly enhanced product precision and overall production and delivery capabilities. Building on this transformation, the company is leveraging a major new materials project to deepen strategic alliances with industry leaders, expanding its reach in both domestic and international markets. From January to July this year, the company achieved an output value of 15.9846 million yuan, up 27.61% year-on-year, and contributed 2.9958 million yuan in taxes, a remarkable 255% increase.

Shanghai Niwei Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. is also reporting impressive achievements. As one of China's leading canning equipment companies, this specialized and innovative firm focuses on food intelligent equipment manufacturing, providing production line solutions for brands like Linjia Shop, Shanghai Maling, and Mixue Ice City. Building on its traditional strengths, the company has astutely identified industry trends and is now actively expanding into new sectors like aquatic food processing and pet food intelligent equipment, creating a fresh growth avenue. Chen She, the company's marketing director, notes that strong global demand for aquatic processing equipment and the rapid rise of the domestic pet industry are boosting demand for supporting equipment, with pet canning orders now accounting for 10%-15% of total orders. The pet equipment segment is steadily growing and has become a new growth engine. While solidifying its domestic presence, Niwei is accelerating its global strategy, targeting emerging markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. For the January-July period, the company generated an output value of 145 million yuan, a 98.33% increase, and paid 7.712 million yuan in taxes, up 68.86%, placing it among the top performers in the area. Several major cooperation orders are currently under negotiation and are expected to be finalized and put into production in the latter half of the year.

As existing enterprises accelerate their development, Zhangyan Town is also speeding up the implementation of industrial projects. The Longchuang auto project has been completed, and construction is progressing on the Haideshi auto parts project. The industrial structure is being continuously optimized, with efforts to revitalize low-efficiency industrial land. Several projects are advancing, including the first phase of the Zhangyan Industrial Park staff living quarters, the Huifu Liuxi Academy project, and expansion projects for Gelsai and Wanrunda. Investment attraction efforts have also borne fruit, with 10 projects signed, including one with Zhutian Packaging. Progress is being made in cultivating innovative entities, with 15 new municipal-level innovative SMEs, 3 new specialized and innovative SMEs, and 1 new district-level shared R&D platform. Additionally, 8 companies have applied for national high-tech enterprise status, and 28 have applied for tech-based SME recognition. Technological achievements are being rapidly commercialized; Chafu Robot's self-developed 5000.36 kg heavy-duty industrial robot has set a new Guinness World Record, and Xianshan Ship has broken the foreign monopoly in components for membrane-type LNG ship cargo containment systems.

Overall, Zhangyan Town's economy has maintained a stable performance this year. From January to June, all types of taxes in the town totaled 1.066 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 28.27%, while district-level local fiscal revenue reached 330 million yuan, up 25.23%. Both indicators' growth rates rank among the top in the district. Huang Xudong, the town's deputy head, stated that they will continue to focus on leading industries, intensifying efforts in project construction, investment attraction, and enterprise services. The town will closely monitor the progress of key industrial projects, pursue targeted investment in niche areas, and continuously improve the business environment to drive high-quality economic development.
