Trump: CNN reporter Collins spreads false information

President Donald Trump on September 8 criticized CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins and the network in a post on X, accusing Collins of hosting a panel filled with “FICTION AND LIES.” Trump described the reporter as “very dumb and unhappy” and noted that CNN has “really low ratings.”
“You would think that CNN, which is suffering terribly in the TV Ratings, would get rid of their 3rd rate ‘anchors,’ and try to bring credibility back to their once storied network. It is fading FAST!” Trump wrote, concluding with a call to watch the Republican National Convention the following night.
As of press time, CNN and Collins have not publicly responded to Trump’s remarks.
