Chervon Holdings (HKG:2285) has named Joseph Galli Jr. as the new chief executive officer of the company, according to a Thursday bourse filing.
Shares of the company jumped over 21% in morning trade Friday.
The power tools and outdoor equipment maker said Galli has worked at notable U.S. firms, including Black & Decker and Amazon, and that his career spans more than four decades.
Galli assumes the top job from Longquan Pan, who will continue as chairman of the board. The changes took effect Sept. 10.
