PYC Therapeutics Says First Patient Dosed in Open-Label Extension of Drug Candidate Study in Polycystic Kidney Disease

PYC Therapeutics (ASX:PYC) said the first patient was dosed in the Part D open-label extension of the ongoing multiple-ascending dose study of its PYC-003 drug candidate in polycystic kidney disease patients, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
This patient has been receiving the drug candidate for a period of four months and will continue to receive PYC-003 every six weeks for up to 24 months.
The objective of the ongoing study is to determine the safety and tolerability profile and optimal dosing regimen of the drug candidate in a repeat-dose setting before a proposed transition to a registrational trial.
