Amerant Bancorp (AMTB) said Tuesday that it has priced a $50 million offering of senior notes due 2031.

The company said the notes will carry a 7% annual interest rate, payable twice a year, and mature Sept. 17, 2031.

Amerant said it plans to use the proceeds for the offering, expected to close Thursday, for general corporate purposes, including supporting organic growth at Amerant Bank, repaying debt and potentially repurchasing class A shares.
