Nine Entertainment (ASX:NEC) said its QMS NZ unit turned on its City Rail Link out-of-home digital advertising network in Auckland, according to a Monday statement.

The network was turned on with a fully subscribed roster, including 2degrees, Bank of New Zealand, Spark New Zealand (NZE:SPK, ASX:SPK), Warehouse Group (NZE:WHS), ANZ Group Holdings (ASX:ANZ, NZE:ANZ), and Tower (ASX:TWR, NZE:TWR).

The network spans three new underground stations and its launch follows the completion of New Zealand's largest-ever infrastructure project that doubles the potential capacity of the country's rail network, according to the statement.

Nine Entertainment shares gained 4% in recent Monday trade.
