Self-improving software-development company Factory said it raised $200 million in financing in a round that values the company at $5 billion.
The artificial-intelligence company said that in April it held a valuation of $1.5 billion. Following the latest round, the company has raised a total of over $400 million.
Financing was provided by Blackstone, Khosla Ventures, Sequoia Capital and Insight Partners, among others, and the round included participation from angel investors including Nico Rosberg, Brad Gerstner and Marc Benioff, Factory added.
The company said its customers include Nvidia, Blackstone, Palo Alto Networks and Adobe.
Factory said its platform allows customers to operate a trusted system to build software under their control, with humans governing measurable outcomes.
