European Lithium Says Western Australia Supreme Court Makes Orders for Scheme Meetings Related to Critical Metals Acquisition

European Lithium (ASX:EUR) said the Supreme Court of Western Australia made orders directing the firm to convene meetings of its shareholders and option holders for the purposes of considering and voting on the schemes of arrangement related to the Critical Metals acquisition, according to a Tuesday statement.

Under the schemes, it is proposed that Critical Metals will acquire 100% of the issued share capital of European Lithium and all of European Lithium's listed options. The meetings will be held on Oct. 22.

The court also approved the dispatch to European Lithium shareholders and European Lithium option holders of an explanatory statement providing information about the schemes, together with the notices of the scheme meetings.

European Lithium's shares rose 1% in recent trading on Tuesday.
