Capgemini agreed to sell its government solutions unit to U.S. IT solutions and enterprise-services provider ITC Federal for an undisclosed sum.

The French consulting and technology group said it has agreed to sell its subsidiary working with the U.S. federal government as part of a previously announced divestment process.

In February, the group said that the customary legal restrictions imposed under contracts with federal government entities conducting classified activities in the U.S. didn't allow it to maintain adequate control over certain aspects of its subsidiary's operations.

Capgemini Government Solutions accounted for 0.4% of the group's 2025 revenue and less than 2% of its U.S. revenue, the company said.

The transaction, which is set to close in the coming weeks, remains subject to customary conditions.
