GenusPlus Group Secures AU$160 Million Victoria Battery Storage Contract

GenusPlus Group (ASX:GNP) has secured a AU$160 million contract to deliver a 400-megawatt, 1.86-gigawatt-hour battery energy storage system at the Birdwood Energy Reserve in Wodonga, Victoria, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company will deliver the balance-of-plant works, covering civil, structural and electrical infrastructure, high-voltage connection assets, communications, control systems, testing and commissioning, with construction scheduled for completion by late 2028, the filing added.

The company's shares fell 2% in recent Monday trade.
