Carlyle Group (CG) has joined a Massachusetts Institute of Technology research consortium for a two-year program examining how artificial intelligence can be applied to portfolio management and investment decision making, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.
The partnership will give faculty-led research projects access to Carlyle data to explore AI applications in private-market capital allocation and the development of investment signals from complex data sets, the report said.
Carlyle Group did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
