Brookfield (BN) is gearing up for a recapitalization of UK resort operator Center Parcs that would value it at around $6 billion, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing sources familiar with the matter.

Brookfield is engaging investors, including Australian Retirement Trust and Australian pension fund Mercer Super, and more than 75% of the capital is expected to come from new backers, according to the report.

Brookfield and Center Parcs did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
